Gong Meditation
Saturday 18 January 2020 12am – 1am
Luxuriate in a restorative sound bath experience designed to restore energy fields, rebalance the body’s frequencies, and rejuvenate the entire being. The gong sound vibrates the energy meridians in the body and brings them into balance while alleviating stress and clearing the mind. This immersive experience induces a state of theta where brainwave frequencies range from 4 to 7Hz, allow the body to relax completely, putting participants in the state where energy shifts and deep healing are possible.
We start with by clearing the nasal passage and energy channels to prepare us for relaxation. Participants will then be invited to get comfortable - whether laying down or sitting up on cushions - and allow the sound of the gong to wash over them, similar to waves of the ocean. We will have a short sit after the session, just to observe the body, breath and mind, followed by sharing and questions.
