Dharma Morning
Buddhist meditation followed by an exploration of the Dharma through talks and discussion. Suitable for all levels.
Saturday 20 July 2024 9:30am – 3:30pm
Dharma Day is a wonderful opportunity to reflect on the transformational teaching of the Buddha and the teachers who have supported us to tread the path with confidence.
We will begin the day with the Saturday Morning Meditation, followed by talk from Dharmanada; Dharma: Bliss of Truth and Reality. After a shared vegan lunch, we'll send the afternoon engaging in shared reflections and holding a Pūjā, bringing our hearts and minds to the Dharma in collective practice. See below for timings.
9.30 am - Meditation
10.30 am - talk from Dharmanada - Dharma: Bliss of Truth and Reality
12 noon - Vegan shared lunch
1.30 pm - Dharma exploration
2.30 pm - Puja
Please bring a plate of vegan food to share – just enough for you and one or two others so we don’t create waste!
All are welcome to attend some or all of the Dharma Day celebrations, no booking or previous Pūjā experience needed.
The 9.30am meditation and 10.20am talk & discussion will be online and in person. You can join us on Zoom with meeting ID 861 1314 5297 and password Dharma. Please note the Pūjā is in person only.
For most modern web browsers, you do not need to download anything. For a better experience you can, before the start time, download the Zoom Desktop Client for Windows, Mac, or Linux. You do not need to create an account or sign in.

No - just turn up!
We don't charge a fixed price for our classes but instead invite you to make a donation to the centre to help us cover our running costs.
A donation of $15-20 would help us to cover our costs, but everyone is equally welcome, even if you cannot give anything at all.
Everyone is welcome, but the day will be especially suitable for those who have been to the centre at least a couple times before.
Of course! You're welcome to come for whatever parts of the day you can make - just try to turn up at one of the times on the programme so we're not in the middle of an activity.
A pūjā is a traditional Buddhist ritual that includes chanting and making offerings.
If you have not done pūjā before, please let the leader know so they can give an introduction.
