Buddhafield Open Hand Night

Buddhafield Open Hand Night

Friday 24 September 2021 9am – 10:30am

Join us for an open night of sharing poetry, prose, music and visual art! Anyone can offer something that inspires them, in an atmosphere of appreciation, interest, and dialogue.

We'll hold a facilitated Zoom based open floor for anyone to share performance, poetry, music and visual art inspired by the theme "Creating a Buddhafield". Examples of what this encompasses include expressions of mutual compassion and care, inspiration, generosity, and sharing what is important. The beauty of Open Hand Nights is that it's unpredictable and spontaneous: you never know what is coming next. And it's normally wonderful as well as human.

Organised by Buddhafield Australia - a safe, fun, co-created, and emergent gathering grounded in the Dharma, meditation and spiritual friendship. The event will be a fundraiser for the Sydney Buddhist Centre.
