Writing Your Way workshop, run by Minh Nguyen

19 July 2026

Sydney Buddhist Centre, Sunday 2 August 4–6pm*

What if the ultimate goal of Buddhism and creative writing were the same? Based on Manjusvara’s book ‘Writing Your Way’, this 2-hour workshop integrates the art of writing and Buddhist wisdom to help us discover more about ourselves, our conditionality, and our interconnectedness. What does it mean to write with awareness and compassion? And how might we use creativity and imagination to develop these qualities on the Buddhist path?

Suitable for all—whether you’re a seasoned writer curious about Buddhism or a seasoned Buddhist who thinks they’re just ‘not that creative’.
$35–$45 standard / $25 concession.

*This event is being organised by some of the women mitras to help support Bec, Loris & Julie cover costs associated with their upcoming ordination retreat. All proceeds go towards the food, accommodation and travel expenses of their retreat!

Please book by donating at this GoFundMe page, including your name and the word ‘WORKSHOP’, and then email: minhn01062004@gmail.com to confirm your place.
