Evening Meditation
The basics of Buddhist meditation. Suitable for complete beginners.
As an antidote to the suffering that continues to grow in the world, the Buddhist practice of loving kindness offers a meaningful way for us to navigate the darkness. Together, meditating with loving kindness, we can become powerful ethical agents and shift the harshness in life towards the bold and openhearted nature of mettā.
Each session will begin with a poem, a mantra or music followed by an open and unled practice of mettā bhāvanā. The meditations will be unled except for the 1st and 3rd Sunday of each month when there will be a led metta meditation. Join us in this open practice of loving kindness every Sunday.

The meditation is best suited for those who have attended a meditation class for long enough to know the stages to the mettā bhāvanā.
