The Sydney Buddhist Centre is part of the Triratna Buddhist Community, a worldwide movement founded in 1967.

Our teachers are practising Buddhists who strive to incorporate the ideals and practice of Buddhism into daily life.

Triratna is a Sanskrit word meaning "Three Jewels": the Buddha, Dharma (the Buddha's teaching) and the Sangha (the Buddhist community).

You can find our policies here.

Our centre is located in Newtown, close to bus and rail transport.
