Sacred Space Initiative

The Sacred Space Initiative is a collective of practitioners dedicated to increasing the visibility of devotional practice at the Sydney Buddhist Centre through creating engaging festivals days and special pujas. As Sangharakshita reminds us, it is through ritual that 'we externalise and make conscious our deep spiritual feelings’. Moreover, it is through engaging in rituals that we strengthen and intensify these feelings. This collective is open to all who wish to develop confidence in the Dharma through devotion.

I would like to thank my ancestors and the Earth from which we come. I extend my respects from my people the Nguhi of Moreton and Stradbroke Islands to the Gadigal and Eora peoples.
