Seven Fold Pūjā @SBC and online!

Seven Fold Pūjā @SBC and online!

Saturday 6 June 2020 9am – 11am

Welcoming in the new moon and the opportunity to practice together again at the SBC, Kusalacitta will be leading a seven fold pūjā both in person at the Centre and on zoom.

Due to COVID Government restrictions, places at the Centre are limited to 10 attendees. If you would like to attend the Centre in person, it's best to reserve a spot online to avoid disappointment.

Alternatively, all are welcome to participate in the pūjā online via zoom.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is pūjā?

A pūjā is a traditional Buddhist ritual that includes chanting and making offerings.

If you have not done pūjā before, please let the class leader know so they can give an introduction.

Do I need to book?

If you want to attend in person, advance booking is required due to space limitations. If you are joining us online, no prior booking is required - just turn up.

Do I need to be a Buddhist or a regular at the centre?

While pūjā is a Buddhist devotional practice, many people who aren't Buddhists enjoy pūjā, and everyone is welcome.

How much does the event cost?

We don't charge a fixed price for our classes but instead invite you to make a donation to the centre to help us cover our running costs.

A donation of $15-20 would help us to cover our costs, but everyone is equally welcome, even if you cannot give anything at all.
