Young People's Course

Young People's Course

This six week course introduced some of the most radical and transformative aspects of the Dharma, and will be focussed on how we put those into practice in our lives.

Each evening takes place in two halves. In the first half, we explore one of two Buddhist meditations alongside the normal Young Sydney Buddhists class. After a short tea break, we will meet separately for the course content.

Each week will discuss our practice over the last week, introduce key Buddhist ideas and discuss how those affect our lives, and set goals for the week ahead. Each week will build on the last so that together we build up a complete path of Buddhist practice.

The course will be most suitable to those who already have some experience of meditation and knowledge of Buddhist ideas and are looking to deepen their understanding and practice - even if it just having come to one or two evenings at our main class. But it will also be suitable for newcomers who are enthusiastic to see what Buddhism can offer.

This is a 6 week course open to anyone aged 35 or under. Spaces are limited, and booking in advance is required. The cost for the whole course is $40.
