Dharma Book Club
Dharma is the name for the teachings of the Buddha. We use books which explore Dharma in a way that is accessible and practical to everyday life in the modern world. Although you will get the most out of the class if you come to every week on a particular book, there is no need for any previous knowledge and you can start coming at any point in the series. You do not need to have read the book beforehand.
The current book we are studying is Sailing the Worldly Winds: a Buddhist way through the ups and downs of life by Vajragupta. Using reflections, exercises and suggestions for daily practice, this group will discuss how we can find greater equanimity and perspective in our lives.
You can also join us for a meditation session beforehand, starting at 10:30am.
