Un-guided Morning Meditations

Un-guided Morning Meditations

Developing and maintaining a meditation practice is a powerful support for our life and spiritual development. Practising with Sangha strengthens our commitment and gives us the opportunity to connect. That’s why every Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, we offer morning meditations on Zoom.

The meditation starts with welcome to country and saluting the three jewels. There will be a light lead in to a non-guided meditation. All are welcome, but it is particularly suitable for those with some meditation experience.

This session starts at 7am Sydney time and lasts around 50 minutes.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to have any previous meditation experience?

The first session is best suited for those who have attended a meditation class for long enough to know the stages to the practices we teach. The second session is suitable for all, including newcomers.

Do I need to book?

No, just turn up!

Do I need to be a Buddhist?

No - these sessions are open to anyone who wants to meditate with others.

What should I wear for the meditation and how should I sit?

There are no special requirements, just make sure you'll be comfortable to sit for the length of the meditation. If you don't have meditation equipment, a dining room chair will be perfectly suitable.

How much does the session cost?

We don't charge a fixed price for our meditations but instead invite you to make a donation to the centre to help us cover our running costs.
